Who was karan singh ?
Karan Singh had barely turned 18 when on the 23rd of October 2008 he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The family was shocked, he’d been a real healthy boy all his life and had barely been sick a day in his life. Though his treatment began right away at the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi and no stone was left unturned to cure him, the disease progressed rapidly and Karan passed away on the 28th of December 2008. Barely 3 months after the first diagnosis.
Witnessing the devastating toll cancer took on Karan, and by extension his family, friends, and associates, changed us forever. This firsthand experience with the disease's far-reaching impact became the driving force behind the creation of the Karan Singh Cancer Foundation.
"Fueled by the memory of Karan, the Karan Singh Cancer Foundation is on the front lines of the battle against cancer. Our mission is to provide life-saving medical treatment and compassionate care to patients with nowhere else to turn, because we believe everyone deserves a fighting chance".
